Taverna San Lio Hotel offered us an authentic Venetian experience with its central location and exceptional staff. Davide's warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The rooms were impeccably clean and spacious, providing a comfortable ambiance. Plus, its close proximity to major attractions like St Mark's Square and Rialto Bridge made our sightseeing effortless and enjoyable.

The noise from the lively street below, especially on weekends, could be quite disruptive. We even had to rely on earplugs to drift off to sleep. the breakfast spread was quite limited in variety, which left us wanting a bit more each morning.

Noise from the street can be bothersome!!! Prepare for a workout with no elevator!!! Inconsistent cleanliness standards could use attention!!! Air conditioning units making noise adds discomfort!!!

we loved our stay at the taverna! the family room was spacious and super clean. even though the hotel is on a busy lane, we heard no noise at all. it's only a 5-minute walk to st mark's square and about 7 minutes to rialto bridge. also, the air conditioning was a great relief during our trip. overall, a solid experience.
